Sensory Processing Disorder, Jo

Metal, wood, wire, plaster, and mesh sculpture of a figure. Figure's face is made out of white plaster and body is draped with red mesh. Symbolizes sensory processing disorder.

"I change clothes several times of day, undergarments feel like a corset. Some people need weight and compression. I sleep with a weighted blanket, 40 pounds on me.

My sheets are really soft bamboo. If they get nubby, that's it. Can feel stitches on a mattress. What's comfortable today may not be comfortable next week."
