Upcoming Exhibits

The mission of the Chronic Pain Project is to bring visibility to the invisible experience of living with chronic pain. With art created by people with chronic pain as a catalyst for conversation, the project educates the larger community while promoting communication and understanding.

ARTS - Artists Reconnecting Through Sharing

A one day, online workshop where artists can connect and share their art.

What is the event?

The Chronic Pain Project (CPP) sees art created by individuals with chronic pain as a means of communication and community building. Art fosters an exchange between the artist and the viewer, enriching the lives of both.

Through a facilitated online group, artists can share a recent creation and narrate the stories behind their piece while also viewing and discussing works by others.

Sharing art with the broader population is our core mission, but facilitating art exchange among the artists themselves cultivates community and reduces isolation. Participation in these sessions does not require entry of your work into our exhibit.

Quote from a Participant

“I feel a little sad about talking about some of these things, when I really say them out loud, but on the other hand, it’s great to be heard. It’s great to have an avenue to share it.”
